Whether it’s for a husband, a son, a father, brother, or friend, looking for addiction help for a loved one is overwhelming.
We want to simplify that for you.
You will likely have to talk to your loved one. They need to become aware the consequences of their actions. Specifically, how they are harming the people closest to them. This conversation is not always easy, but it is often the most important first step.
We can help you. We have experienced professionals that are available to walk you through this step—we will help guide you through the process.
Once there is a willingness, assessment by one of our addiction treatment specialists is necessary. Because our men’s addiction treatment program is customized for each client, we need to get a full understanding your loved one’s personal experience.
This is not a judgement analysis. That is no longer an issue. There is no moral accusation at this point. The only thing that matters is a willingness to get help. And an accurate assessment for successful treatment.
There is no better day to quit than today. We like to act fast. Once a person is willing to take that step, it’s best to start now. You will work with our team to help get your loved one admitted and on their first steps to recovery.
Once your loved one is admitted, their treatment begins with drug and alcohol detoxification. This really is the only focus at this stage. They need to get their body to a place where deeper psychological work can begin.
But once that has happened (usually 7-10 days) they begin more involved treatment s which include such modalities as individual counseling, group counseling for addiction, rehabilitation activities, and, if it makes sense, family counseling.
Our team is ready to help you with your loved one.
